A Comeback for the Ages

December 18, 2022

Everyone loves a good comeback story: witnessing the underdog overpower their opponent and surmount the odds heavily stacked against their favor. That’s exactly what happened on September 18th when the Miami Dolphins won a game for the ages. Even though their lineup was impressive as far as Week 1, no one could have predicted what would happen in their second game of the season. Coming into this match, the Dolphins’ largest second-half comeback win was against the New York Jets in the famous “Fake Spike” game. Miami was playing the Baltimore Ravens this time though, and was well into the 4th quarter down 35-12, looking set for defeat. Our star quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, tied a record for six touchdown passes in a single game, going 13 for 17 and 199 yards, with four of his six assists in the 4th quarter. Following Tua’s success, wide receiver star Tyreek Hill caught 5 passes, scored 2 touchdowns, and ran 142 yards. The game ended up turning on its head 42-38 and, overall, was a date marked in history for Miami. Go Dolphins!
